About the project:

Renovating with purpose: a bright, comfortable and efficient apartmentLocated in the quiet and promising area of Abrunheira, in the municipality of Sintra, this 2-bedroom apartment, built in 1993, was given a new lease of life with a renovation that was thoughtful in every detail — not just aesthetically, but also functionally and energetically.

On the first floor at the front, Luz do Primeiro represents our vision of a modern home: open, bright, welcoming and adapted to the real needs of those seeking quality of life.

The renovation began with the removal of walls and doors that previously limited light and space. By opening the kitchen to the living room, we create a continuous environment where natural light spreads throughout the house, highlighting the light tones of the floor and walls.

Although white finishes dominate, we introduced wooden elements — such as the vertical panels at the kitchen entrance and the decorative details in the living room — that bring warmth and texture to the space, creating a visual harmony between modern and welcoming.

All materials and equipment were chosen based on quality and sustainability criteria:
